Hardware and Technical Supporting section

Duties of Hardware and Technical Supporting section:

1. Supervising the performance of the hardware systems used by different departments and empowering the users to make optimal use of the systems.

2-  Providing consultation on procurement of equipment and hardware parts required by different departments.

3- Providing manuals for hardware parts.

4. providing computer hardware services and fixing problems of computer system units and their peripheral equipment.

5- Providing list of equipment required for computer systems.

6. Checking the present status of the hardware.

7. Identifying strong and genuine companies for purchasing parts.

8. Cooperating with the law office to review contracts of hardware purchasing and supporting services; monitoring the proper implementation of contracts for purchasing the required hardware parts.

9. Providing hardware support for computer system units of University.

10. Setting up network services for users (Internet, file sharing, email, ...).
